Daniel Vallejo is Awarded an Inaugural NSF Ascend-MPS Award

Daniel Vallejo has been awarded a National Science Foundation Mathematical and Physical Sciences divisions ASCEND postdoctoral fellowship for his project titled “Triboelectric Nanogenerator Ion Mobility-Mass Spectrometry for Studying Cultural Heritage Materials”. This projects hosting institute and sponsoring mentor will be The Georgia Institute of Technology’s School of Chemistry and Biochemistry in Facundo Fernández’s lab. This project is in collaboration with Art and Cultural Heritage Natural Organic Polymers by Mass Spectrometry (ARCHE), the Department of Scientific Research at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the University of Bordeaux. This award was recently highlighted in an NSF newsletter.
